Newspaper editor Arthur Sherwood is on a hunting trip when he accidentally stumbles upon a nudist camp in the woods. He is very much shocked by this and decides to send reporter Stacy Taylor to the camp so she can write an expose on the camp and have it shut down. However, much to her surprise, Stacy finds that she enjoys the nudist lifestyle and writes some very positive articles on her experiences, which doesn't sit well with Arthur. Arthur then decides to join the camp himself and write his own story. This movie is distributed under public domain licensing. it is a film of its time
This was made in the early 1960s and that is clear to see in the way the it was made.. There is nudity in it but because of the censorship of the time there is no full frontal nudity towels are discreetly carried. There is toplessness and full length views from behind. The image quality of the film is not high and its not the greatest acting in the world. It was made in the 60s, partially to promote naturism, for a 60s audience. It is a product of its time and should be watched with that in mind. If you do not have unrealistic expectations you will enjoy it as a bit of saucy fun and a piece of history.

SPROCKET FILMS SCRAPES THE BARREL
This film was made in the early 1960's when nudism and nudist colonies were the stuff of scandal, exposed in the newspapers to shock their readers and the initial reaction was very antagonistic..Once the initial furore had died down other voices were heard that put the case for naturism as being healthy and good for you and these movies addressed this question. I suspect that films made by this company were destined for the chain of Classic cinemas who were unafraid to offer this kind of titillation. Although one star means I hated it, I just thought it was hilarious, badly made and poorly acted. The music was vile and would be copied by the 'Carry Ons'. The most staggering thing about is that NO-ONE IS ACTUALLY NAKED!Everyone has their naughty bits covered up and the male lead has his todger carefully hidden throughout. The hopeless script savagely truncates events and you are asked to believe that the main characters fall in love in 30 seconds flat. Just dreadful.

Sad old thing
This is a tired bit of film from the very early 1960s. I won't say it was wrong about anything, including approach, but the print quality is dismal and the subject matter is so old as to be worthless. And what's with the complete coverage of the 'actors' midsections? I thought this was preaching about how ok and non-sexual nudity is and yet full nudity is completely avoided at all times.
