I bought this for a 9 yr. old thinking that the pole came with it . Why have the pole in the picture ????? So pissed off right now . Will update player about the actual reel !!!!!!

Decent reel, misleading picture
Warning! Does not come with the Rod! The picture is deceiving. Other than that it's really not a bad reel. put some 12 lb Cajun line in it and it preforms well. Northing to right home about but it'll get the job done.

Excellent cheap reel
Don't let the "cheap" in my title deter you. It is a great little thrasher - or beginner - reel.I purchased this reel to take backpacking with me. It was purchased with a collapsible rod.Both the reel and rod make a small footprint in order for me to pack it into my backpack and take-up little room.It will work in a pinch for a nice 3 day backpacking trip, when a lake is our basecamp point.And if I lose it...no biggie. It was not expensive at all.Do you want to try your hand at fishing? Need a reel that will not hurt your wallet if you lose it?This one will work.

This is a really great reel. I've used it almost every day for the last 2 monthes for catfishing and have had no problems with it at all.
