My order was supposed to arrive in 4 days... but nope! It came in 2! At such a reasonable price, I was concerned it might not work well... but nope, it's a gem! Packed well, in perfect shape, looked great and felt solid. Fits like a perfedtly on my 20+ year old KitchenAid stand mixer, and, best of all, it works like a charm! And clean up is a snap!! I'd actually never used an electric meat grinder before. I was planning using a big ol' ham to make a huge pot of ham and beans for a big family get-together, and maybe grind just some of it for ham salad... but when the grinder arrived this afternoon, I just had to try the grinder on a little bit of that ham to see how it worked, right? Okay... this grinder works so GREAT... so EASY... it's AWESOME!! I went grind happy, and almost ground up the whole ham... managed to stop myself just in the nick of time, before there wasn't any left for ham and beans! 😉 I wish I'd had this attachment from the day I got my mixer, but I sure am happy I have it now!!

So I got this for my CUISINART Mixer hoping it'd fit, it does!! So now for the meat grinding abilities; I cut pork into longer strips and they go through the machine perfectly. I've used meat grinders before so I know what to expect. That said, the sausage stuffer is a bit of a pain in the butte.I've stuffed my own sausages with a manual sausage stuffer, like a calk gun, worked very well, really quite good sausages. This attachment is s-l-o-w. The problem? The meat pusher is too narrow for the chute and the ground pork squishes back up around the pusher, making this process super slow. It still works though so I won't remove stars because of that, BUT I'd wish the pusher was more precisely fit to the meat chute. Or maybe 2 different ones included? Thanks for the great price, the name brand attachments can be very expensive!

Living in Texas, with friends that have rural land and wild hog problems we end up being given a fair amount of wild boar meat. This IMHO isn't the best meat ever but it makes for a good base for various sausages. I use this to grind up the pork and mix in my spices, it also works great for stuffing sausage casings for sausages like bratwursts etc...So far everything has been good, I haven't put a lot through it, but it certainly allows me to use the Kitchenaid mixer for more than one function, making the space used far less. It's a LOT less work than a manual turn crank grinder, and a LOT less space than a dedicated electric grinder. Cleanup is easy, operation is easy, setup is reasonable...

This product completely exceeded our expectations. We had been wanting a meet grinder attachment and needed some ground pork. Pork loin was $2/lbs and ground pork was $4/lbs if even available. So, we decided to buy this and grind our own pork. We ground about 7 lbs of pork. It was very easy and fun. The outer casing is plastic, but feels quite strong. The auger is steel and possibly ceramic. The grinder plates are steel. All in all, it feels quite sturdy and good quality. Well worth the money. I would highly recommend this for any average individual wanting an meet grinder for occasional use. Cleaning was pretty easy as it all came apart nicely and was able to put it back together no problem.

I purchased this product mostly for grinding raw meat for my dog. I didn’t expect it to do the work of a commercial or heavy duty grinder, but it more than exceeded my expectations, especially at this low price. It was easy to assemble, attached quickly to my Kitchenaid mixer and processed the meat smoothly. I washed it by hand and it cleaned up easily. I’m convinced I made a good investment!

After years of using a hand grinder (family heirloom from the 1800's no less) I finally decided to harness the power of my mixer and try this grinder. I've only used it once to grind a mixture of sirloin and re-hydrated pellicle from a dry-aged NYS loin roast. It performed without a hitch. There is a bit of finessing required to get the "cap" the right tightness - too loose and meat / juice will force it's way out, and too tight and the parts will actually seize......Design of the cuter is ingenious - you can't put it in backwards :) The fact that it comes with a "spare" is a plus.The grind was very "complete" - did not have to fuss with any of the meat going in, very little didn't grind (unlike my hand grinder)Clean up was delightfully simple - some hot water and a few scrubs and it was like new.I think if it had no issue grinding this up it will have no issue with just about anything else. I may ever want to grind.

This little item has saved me so much money. I use it for grinding chicken and turkey. Simple to use. Quick clean up. I am on Weight Watchers so I eat a lot of chicken. I was tired of paying high prices for organic ground chicken. Perfect for weekly use. Now I know exactly the quality of the food I am eating. Fits on my Kitchenaid like it was made for it. Seems sturdy to me. I love it.

Love it, great value, works well., and arrived quickly. What more could I ask for? I followed the directions and found it easy to use. Had no problems with clean up. I dismantled it according to the directions, ran it under running water, and used the cleaning tool it came with for those hard to reach spots.I have ground beef for hamburgers, and ground chicken breast for lettuce wraps. Looking forward to grinding pork to make pot stickers.

Bought this for my new kitchen aid not expecting a lot as it was so cheap but it works incredibly well. Grinding meat is really easy and making sausage easier than you would think

When I purchased this, my wife had some apprehensions but after hearing me giggle with glee as I made our first batch of hamburger meat, she was onboard. It's sturdy and super easy to clean. OK, maybe one 'beef' - see what I did there? If you're jonesin' for a burger, it is a deliberate and slow-paced process or maybe my burgers are just too big! But, as I oft say, 'Good food takes time to prepare!' Regardless, I'd buy this as a gift for anyone who has a Kitchenaid and wants to make their own burgers.
