Charmian Women's Satin Underbust Waist Training Cincher Steel Boned Corset

This is an UNDER-bust style corset. Ordered the Medium based on Waist Measurements. Very important to understand corsets are sized by waist circumference. Do not buy a corset on the measurement you want to achieve. Buy a corset of your honest & true physical measurement.The fabric is tagged as 90-percent Polyester, 10-percent Spandix. It is a substantial & smooth feeling fabric. The busk is rigid with metal hook & eye "slide & lock" closures. This style of closure ensures a secure closing.Back lacings are sturdy "old fashioned" flat, woven cord with waxed ends. Lacing eyes are metal with a supple modesty panel; no snagging points I've noticed. The corset was pre-laced in the classic top-down, center draw loop pattern. Much easier to adjust the corset to one's body shape.I'm 5-foot 2-inch tall with a long torso, age 55-plus, womanly figured. This corset fits from under-bust to just above hip bones over my pear-shaped body. Adjusting & wearing the first and second days, I put no tension on the corset; keeping it loosely laced for stability & the feeling of a gentle hug. The third day I put very modest tension to it for a few hours, letting it out to just to the feeling of a gentle hug again.This is how I was taught to wear a corset. Allowing the fabric & boning to slowly mold to the body lessens the chance of broken busks, catapulting closures, and sprung stays. Why did I mention "Quiet" in the title? This corset doesn't sound like an old poorly kept saddle creaking & groaning under the weight of a rider... That's why it's so important to buy the proper size and allow it time to fit your form.

It's a corset and the review creator wants to know how it fits... Lol. First, it is better than I expected since the first review says it is cheap and fake. I know you only get what you pay for, but I'd say I got more considering how much I spent on the last one that wound up curling at the bottom. It is satin so just be careful with rings that have a tendency of getting stuck and pulling. The clasp in front is a bit hard and not your usual corset closure, but after operating it only twice I am getting better at it already. It would be nice if the shipper had sent some lacing instructions. I for one googled self lacing, but I recommend having a second person as I find the first method a royal pain in the ass.

The buttons the metal latches lock on are shoddy and broke after second wear. cheap material, I wouldnt trust this brand again.

I wasn't impressed its brand new but it's been in my closet. The fit is too small....and whatever is in it is flimsy because it is not a steel boned corset. Not happy :-(

It fits perfectly. Reason I gave one star bc it not steel boned. Steel boned corset is prime effect for waist training. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning and making another purchase so I kept it. I won't buy from the consumer again bc they lead with lies. Expect one thing and get another. youve been warned!

This corset fits as expected and is very sturdy. The boning in it does exactly what it should do and I love the busk front. It works well as outer or under wear and for a corset, is surprisingly comfy.

Not sure if it's completely steel boned, hard to tell. Still getting used to it. Great quality and detail for the price.

I've been sent out a replacement with no issues this time fits great and no problems with the laces..Ive had to add to this the lining from the front holding the panel in is now starting to show so i have white lines on the hook side.This is a lovely corset, this turned up as expected on time with no problem. Main issues with this are the cord at the back is very thin and came fraid... and very disappointed with the shaping side. This does not pull in your waist as much as other corsets... the stich quality is very nice nice and the boning is very sturdy maybe use this for going out for the shape but not waist training.

Keeps that tummy in - do not try to bend , it almost impossible

This is all real steel boning - I tested it with a magnet! The laces are strong cords, not just satin ribbons, and are tied in the correct 'bunny ears' style. There is waist tape used in the middle of the corset. In all, this looks like a really high-quality garment for the price.

I love this, bought for waist training, very sturdy and I feel great in it, only problem is you can't sit down comfortably in it, just had to walk around doing housework instead :)

Very nice product but it will take more than 1 person to put this on.

It makes you sit up straight lol. Is suprising good, the only thing is when I sit down, I feel like boob are up just under my chin, but maybe I'm not wearing it right

I liked this a lot but the laces are too short to create a decorative bow. Relaced and all is now perfect

The item is way too large. Have to order another 2 sizes smaller. The inches are not accurate. I therefore returned the first one which was done quickly and the new one fit just right

the purchase is very small so l need to return it.how can l return it black to get a bigger size.
