I've purchased 2 mannequin heads from this brand. A brown one, and later a blonde one. They are both the same in quality from what I've seen. However, although it is indeed mostly human hair, there are strands of random synthetic black hairs in it. I learned this fact after attempting to bleach the brown hair mannequin, and noticed that some random hairs didn't bleach. It wasn't patches of hair, but just random individual hairs that were solid black. I knew that these were obviously synthetic hairs that were made to fill out the mannequin to help it appear fuller than it actually was.I'm still satisfied with their mannequin heads, and like I said, the majority of the hair is still human hair, but I still find it annoying that there is any synthetic hair in it at all. If you want true 100% human hair, then you'll need to spend a little extra money, that's just life. But if you are ok with mostly human hair, this is still a great product and will still do the things you want with it (dying, bleaching, curling, straitening, etc). It's still much better than the 100% synthetic heads that get permanently tangled up after a few weeks.Overall, a good product, but I just want to make sure people know the truth about it.

Great for hair cutting, styling, braiding etc. However, be careful with chemicals such as lightener and hair color. Mine locked up really bad after one of my highlighting classes.

The media could not be loaded.  I am a Full time Cosmetology student and I bought her to practice on. Right out of the box she was very smooth with no knots or tangles. I have shampooed and blow dried her and she did just fine. There is fall out or shedding but many of my much more expensive heads have shed just has much if not more. Her hair is very soft and she is much prettier then thr stock photo. I did not find any nits which is nice. However, they wouldn't have cared... The reviews complaining about it has obviously never bought a real hair wig or Training head before. The only fault I see is... I am pretty sure its not like 100% human hair. Might have yak or something else. Works just fine either way. I'll let ya know how it goes.

I liked the softness of the hair. The hair is thin, but I did not think this was a problem. I washed, added a volumizing mouse,and blowed dried. That improved the volume. I prepped the hair for practicing updos by texturizing the root using a texturizing iron at 300F. No melting! Next, I added loose curls using a 1" Hot Tools marcel iron and i still did not notice any melting. The ends are thin, but a little trim will fix that in the future. This is a nice addition to my practice studio.

I got this and another one of these for my daughter's for Christmas, ages 7 and 12, and they love them! I was a little nervous my 12 year old would think it was stupid but she has used it as much or more than my 7 year old. I shopped around for several days comparing different ones and reading reviews because I didn't want to get one that wouldn't hold up or have that nasty hair that a lot of them do but so far so good!

I am very happy with this purchase. I have bought over 7 mannequins in the past. Some $300.00 some $50.00. When I purchased this manniquin, I did so with the intentions of colouring her hair dark (as I am not a fan of the orange blonde). The quality is great. Definitely worth every penny. Her hair is about medium density I would say. I am using it to teach my bridal hair classes and will be incorporating clip-in hair extensions as well to add some thickness.
