Drys quickly, does not add a high gloss sheen, the leather will appear more like a satin than a dull leather. Will use on all my leather.

Leaves leather a bit shiny depending on how much you use, but not quite a high gloss, which is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Apply carefully to dyed leather though, if you rub it on you'll bleed dye pretty heavily. I used a dauber to gently apply a fairly generous coat. I could tell from the dauber that it did lift a little bit of dye still, but not much and I like the way it looks. No rub off after drying. The smell reminds me a bit of the blue liquid in outhouses when it's in the bottle, but after application and drying it becomes a more mild and pleasant pine scent.

What is there to say about Fiebings? They are leaders in the leather crafting industry with almost all of their products. Tan Kote is my top finish of choice whenever I am finishing up on a leather item which will see very much outdoors use. There may be better quality and higher priced products out there but, at my level of experience, I depend on a name on which I can trust without question and Fiebings is that name!

Easy to apply. Does what it is supposed to do and does it well.

This is a tricky product to use. I recommend reading forums and watching videos on it to see how to use it best.

I bought this product up on the recommendation of a good friend and leather worker. My dad made this saddle from scratch and hand tooled it. He'd be proud of the way it looks now even though it hasn't been used in about 15 years.
