Works great to connect a nonlatching footswitch to my camera so guest can trigger my camera!
I used this cable along with the below to turn my Nikon D7000 into a great photo booth along with 2 Alien Bees B400 Strobe lights and a white muslin background. I also use the cybersync transmitter and receivers.Allows guest to walk into the photo booth (It's just a mini studio) which I can setup in the corner at wedding receptions, etc. The foot pedal along with the pre-trigger cable allow the subjects to snap their own pictures and be as funny as they want. Seems having a photographer behind the camera makes people not come out and be as funny as they are when they know no one's behind the camera. I have an assistant had out props such as hats and mustaches on sticks along with chalk boards, etc. for guest to write whatever they want.(I have the camera set to manual focus along with a high f-stop so there's no issues with users being blurry. Camera is set with a 50mm prime lens and covers the entire backdrop)The wifi card allows users to view their images on my ipad and the otterbox case protect it from kids/rough guest. (also another reason to have an assistant).I tried the Eye-Fi Card along with Nikons USB Wifi card, and for the money, the transcend card was the best bang for the buck. I leave the camera in live view mode, so it never looses a connection to the ipad by turning off the wifi card. Also that's why I needed the ac power cord for my camera. The ipad is also plugged into power.Hope this helps someone else setup an awesome photo booth as well!* Nikon 27018 EP-5a Power Supply Connector* Kapaxen EH-5 EH-5A AC Power Adapter* ChargerCity Music Mic Microphone Stand Tablet Mount* Boss Fs-5U Nonlatching Footswitch* C2G / Cables to Go 03170 3.5mm Stereo Coupler Female/Female* Fotodiox Pro Pre-Trigger Remote Shutter Release Cable for Nikon D7000* Transcend Information 32 GB Wi-Fi SDHC Class 10 Memory Card* OtterBox Defender Series Case with Screen Protector and Stand for the New iPad

Headphones for guitar amp
Another quality Hosa product! I use this cable to plug in my AudioMX headphones into my amp while playing guitar.Headphoneshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZWNYF7E/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_Mww4wb1D07T5MThis allows me to jam out and not disturb the wife and kids. The 10' cable allows is the same length as most guitar cables. It doesn't force me to be super close to the amp. I can scoot back and and comfortably play and use my pedals without interference. The construction appears to be rather durable. I haven't noticed any noise interference while using the headphones. What more can I say. The cable works perfectly for my needs.

Good cable
Works perfectly. I've never noticed a difference in sound quality between cheap and expensive cables, unless of course the cable is damaged. There are cables out there with nicer insulation and better "feel" though. For cables that I use on instruments, that have to be repeatedly coiled and uncoiled, dragged around, walked on, lie on the floor without getting all tangled up, etc., I usually splurge and get one with a nice jacket. Knowing that there are cables out there that are meant to solve more problems than transmitting a signal from one end to the other, I cannot give this one 5 stars. For the price though, this is a good, durable cable that does the job.

Broke after 4-5 months of gentle use. Still looks new
Cable worked for 4-5 months. Then stopped working, only left audio channel works. Cable has sat on my desk, plugged into DAC and headphones for the whole time. Rarely unplugged from headphones. There is no obvious damage on the cable, looks almost new; no idea where to splice and try to salvage it. It was $7-8 so whatever I guess. Just be aware it might just crap out. First I thought it was my expensive but old headphones, which was worrying, but after testing them with another cable it's clear.

Good cable
This is a well made budget cable, this is not a premium cable that will survive in a professional environment for an extended period of time, nor was it designed to do so. However, it works well on the occasion that I need to adapt a 1/8" device to a mixer / amp that has a 1/4" input. Thus far the cable has performed well with good fidelity. For occasional use I would purchase this cable again.

Just what I needed
This review will be short and to the point. My headphones came with a short 4' cable and only a mini-plug. I needed a long cable with a 1/4" plug. I had patched together an extension cable with a 1/4" plug adapter. While it worked, it was not the ideal solution. Enter the Hosa CMS110. It was exactly what I needed. Not only is it the perfect solution for me, it improves the audio on my headphones. My stock cable was very thin. I was also suffering signal loss due to the extension cable and adapter plug. The Hosa CMS110 cable gauge is thicker than my stock cable, and I no longer have patch cable and adapters robbing my audio. The improvement was more than I expected. The Hosa CMS110 is a highly recommended accessory.

Best cord to use
Best cord to use. 1/4" adapter to a 1/8" cords do not work well. Sound is fuzzy and sometimes will not work at all. I am a PE Teacher full time and work with my church sound booth as well. These work the best to get what you want done!
