I should have bought a laser level years ago
I ordered this laser level to help install a set of shelves in my office. Before buying a new tool I always check reviews on tool sites and YouTube before ordering. After a bit of research, I discovered the Bosch GLL25-10 was highly rated. In the past I’ve used my small, medium or large hand levels to hang pictures, shelves or even cat furniture on the walls. After one use of this tool, I was asking myself why I didn’t buy one of these years ago. I own several tripods on which I could have mounted this level, but just clamping it to the edge of my open office door worked perfectly. I adjusted the level up and down the door as needed to raise or lower the level.I also like having both the horizontal and vertical laser lines to keep the shelves level horizontally and to keep all the shelf ends lined up vertically. The red laser lines were clear and bright and made hanging shelves very easy. In addition, this tool is very well made and reflects the Bosch level of quality I have come to expect. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone with picture or shelf-hanging projects.

Low strength, auto leveling can be annoying
I haven't used a laser level like this in the past, so i didn't want to spend hundreds. You definitely get what you pay for, this has a pretty weak beam that doesn't reach 30' in the daytime, and the self levelling works by having the LED emitter suspended on a little pendulum that hangs inside the box. It works great on vertical surfaces, but if you are trying to lay out lines on the floor or something, or lay out landscaping edging on the ground, it is really hard to work with.Overall this could be a much more useful product with a bit better design, but for 30 bucks its a pretty good deal. The clamp/mount uses a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount screw, and its almost worth it just for how nice that is. I have put it on my camera tripod for a few projects as well.

Super easy to use
This product was used for hanging several pictures on a wall and helped with making sure they were both where we wanted them and they were straight. Has a nice attaching clamp feature which will hold it steady. Took one star away on versatility as the clamping device is slightly limited in what it will clamp to (size and shape). Tried attaching it to the side of an 8' tall aluminum ladder. Because the ladder is just flat sectional fiberglass, had to improvise to get the attaching device to clamp correctly.

Not enough stars for this thing.
I got this to put up some shelves in my garage. I need a level line, and plumb lines at stud locations. A coworker said something about using something similar, so I went on line for some searching. Got this based on features and price, and I'm glad I did.I was able to clamp this laser level onto a 3-foot piece of 1/4 using a 1/4-20 threaded insert and attach that to a large camera tripod to strike the level line, and by rotating the tripod head, locate each plumb line in turn for the studs. Did 3 sides of the garage without moving it. Much easier than a level and more accurate. With the self-leveling feature, the camera tripod didn't have to be exactly level, just close enough for the auto leveling feature to take over. Visibility was fine indoors, I suspect it might be more of a challenge outdoors on a very sunny day. Mine's the red laser one, in case anyone's curious. The bottom line: If somebody runs a car over it, I'll go right out and get another. Bosch has hit a home run with this.

Very practical but inestable
the product was shipped in a bag, no security on that.the laser constantly turns off and moves.

Saved my wall tile project
Maybe not the most accurate version of this sort of product but if you position it well and use the center of the lines, the laser will clearly mark you level lines both vertically and horizontally. I have no idea how tilers used to do this without a laser. If you use a real level and draw a line, your line is covered over as soon as you thinset your backer board! The laser is awesome because you can set it and set exactly where your tile line has landed letting you shim up the first row easily and accurately.Could be a tad brighter and a tad straighter at the ends of the lines but I generally found myself using the more accurate and brighter center area. All complaints about it flickering or blinking are easily attributed to user error where the device detects gimble lock (it is tilted too far out of level for the inside hanging part to swing to where it needs to be to continue drawing a level line). This is a good feature not a bad feature! You don't want it to be gimble locked and think your line is good to do something with (hang tile or painting or cabinets or whatever) so the device detects the user error condition and disables the laser output. No this wasn't written in the manual but this is common sense for how it works and why.

Worked great...one time.
I purchased this in June 2022. I used it to hang a series of pictures and posters that needed more than normal accuracy. It worked great. Put it back in the box and set it on a shelf inside my office. Just pulled it out as I was going to hang some shelves and it no longer works. I've tried three sets of batteries. I can see a very faint red light/laser but nothing shows up on the wall. Spent more money on the Bosch name. I guess it wasn't worth it. Hopefully, I will have some luck with customer service but I'm not holding my breath. Super dissapointed.

Little weak and unwieldy, but it works
It's solid and simple. Downside is if the level is tilted a lot it doesn't level the line, but you can mostly compensate for that with the clamp and joints.
