Worked well for me.
I cut and tapered four table legs from 2 7/8" hard maple - with a new blade but on an under powered portable table saw. There were occasional and expected light scorch marks - I knew they would sand out. Using an orbital hand sander, I used and my favorite "premium" disks on two legs and the 3M disks on the other two legs (both 80 grit to start). For me, the hype of these disks was true - both disks removed the scorch marks and neither by removing too much material. But, the 3M disk did it about 1/3 faster and the disk looked new afterward.

I would do a commercial for this stuff.
I am not often moved to rhapsodic effusion over sandpaper, however, this stuff is an exception. It really is way better than any run of the mill — or even brand name — aluminum oxide or silicon carbide product. Cuts faster. How much faster? 2.7 way fasters. Lasts way longer. How much longer? 3.2 way longers. I would do a commercial for this stuff. Further details, although for some reason they don’t want to point it out, it’s fully wet/dry-capable. This review is all based on working with cell-cast acrylic and epoxy resin, both of which are a bit harder than hard wood.

Drastically cuts sanding time! Good stuff!
This product is amazing! It dramatically cuts sanding time, making quick work of this tedious chore. I have been using Diablo sanding pads, which I like, but the Cubitron works much faster. I highly recommend!

Wow
Head and shoulders above any other sandpaper I've ever used, including diablo. Never thought id write a review about sandpaper but here I am. This stuff is so good I almost enjoyed sanding, almost. But seriously, buy this sandpaper you won't regret it. Cut sanding time in half and dust collection is phenomenal when hooked up to a decent vacuum.

Sharp, Long-Lasting, and Dust Efficient
These discs cut fast and clean, and the film backing holds up way longer than paper. The hole pattern helps a lot with dust collection, and grit options are spot-on. Great value for serious sanding.

Amazing
Wow used the 80 and 150 grit with the Pencil trick. Talk about time saver. These sanding disks maker very quick work of a project. Could not be any happier.Several weeks later I lost my 150 grit disk as the backing tore from the back of the disk.Customer service was amazing and are sending me a new pack plus a new pad for my dewalt sander.Great job

Definitively more durable than Diablo Sandnet
I was using Diablo Sandnet in attempts to grind down the stippling on a cast-iron skillet. I was ripping through paper rather quickly, and my progress was slow. Therefore, I looked to see if there was a better and more durable product out there on the market and all fingers pointed to 3M Cubitron II. I really didn’t experience faster material removal from the Diablo paper, but definitely notice a significant difference in the durability of this 3M paper. Jeez, if I were to only use this paper on wood, I would be surprised to see this paper wear out at all. This is, without a doubt, the most durable sandpaper I’ve ever used. Good stuff! If you’re contemplating, whether or not, you should try it, definitely do.

Fantastic Sanding Discs, just not for the current price
Cuts much faster and gets through twice as many boards without dulling. HOWEVER, the hookit portion gives out WAY before the disc loses any sanding efficiency and they literally will fall off of your sander. Great if you're trying to rush through a small batch but not really worth $80/50 pack when you can spend $40/100 on a Mirka set that'll get you through at least the same amount.
