Best bacon I’ve ever had mmmm great flavor

great product GREAT FLAVOR BUT SALTY NOT FOR BACON AND EGGS FOR BREAKFEST. BUT WITH RED BEANS AND CABBAGE WHOO!!!

This bacon has not arrived to me. I ordered it on September 28. RinaInternational is not fulfilling its promise. Normally, this bacon pairs well/goes well with red onions, is a good snack, or a meal in itself. I actually also stuffed cabbages with it, for the great smoked flavour fits Kolozsvari Kaposzta, a great Transylvanian dish.Kolozsvari is supposed to have originated in Transylvania. It is well smoked, has the right flavour, and goes well with Rye bread, and I even stuff cabbage with it.The only downside is it is too small, and kind of overpriced, at $28. only 1 pound, and it shrinks when cooked. I highly recommend though.

The smoky flavor is very pronounced in this product. It needs to be put into the oven at about 295' F for about and hour or more , while checking out its doneness from time to time. It is very fatty , but can lend itself to flavoring other recipes if so inclined. I would not use it as a bacon as in a breakfast . It's basically a pork belly, and I can obtain that at the local Safeway for a lot less money . Not very impressed by it .Chef Gregory

Good smoke flavor Good for seasoning food. the pack of bacon is smaller than it appears

Cut this into relatively thick (1/8" or less) slices and fried it up in a skillet. It crisped up nicely and the taste was great but it was way too salty. I like lots of salt on food I eat, but this was too much for me. Have about 1/4 left, might try soaking it for a couple hours to pull out some of the salt, otherwise this is a no go in the future

The box had only a small piece of tinfoil covering it and it was very dry, almost more like proscuitto. Taste was so-so, but the dryness made it too chewy. I'd like a refund or a better version of this.

European home-made quality. A delicacy for the connoisseurs of high quality East-European traditional food. If you've never had such bacon, you'll become addictive to it, pronto. Careful, this is going to melt your heart and soul. Take it easy! Lol! Excellent! Thanks!
