They work as a gift box but if the item you are gifting is heavy, you will want to reinforce the bottom with tape. I used them for personalized decanters made of glass.

GREAT FOR DECORATIVE WINE GLASSES
GREAT, for what I needed. I used these as gift boxes to “hand out” my decorative wine glasses. Do not mail these as is, it’s not study enough to mail out. I loved them so much I ordered them again the same day I received them.
