Really good sound but the mic is glitchy

Solid headset!
Great headset and mic. Arrived right on time and is set at a very reasonable price point.Pros:-mic is fanastic. Works great in discord and is very clear.-build quality is very good. Isnt wobbly or bendy, very firm and stable.-the wire is also long so no problems with cable management or buying an extention.-covers your ear fully-detachable micCons:-felt too snug onto the head and wasnt able to wear them for a long period of time. Might have just been me becuase I tie a turban so i guess it varys by person.Otherwise its a very solid headset and you cannot go wrong. I hope this helps you in making your decision :)

Best headset about for this price!!!
Wow. For £40 odd quid it’s an absolute top notch bargain. If you’re looking for a top quality headset but aren’t willing to spend hundreds, this is perfect. The sound quality is perfection, turned up to max volume I can hear them from a different room in the house (crazy loud). Sleek and made with stylish material and the microphone is removable with a black cap that fits back over the mic slot when you’ve finished. I bought these specifically for gaming on Xbox but also started listening to music with them. Also, the noise cancellation is brilliant, on low volume you could probably hear outside of them but up to you whether or not you want to hear what’s around you, just turn them up if not.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great value, however not perfect.
First off, do I recommend this product? Yes. But read the review and be aware of it's short comings, in case you wind up expecting something else.Pros -1. Great build. There's metal, matte plastic, comfortable cups + head band2. Removable microphone when it's not needed3. Great sound and isolation4. Wireless5. Very decent mic6. Physical buttons/controls on headset7. Very sturdy adjustable micCons -1. Terrible software/Drivers (I'll explain below)2. Average battery life. About 8 hours continuous use (without surround)3. Hissing/noise from right cup (extremely common issue. Interference?)4. No AUX out for mobile.5. Poor range.Lets talk about the cons. The software issue I mentioned, displays incorrect battery life. It'll never give you 100% battery (despite green light). Usually suggests between 85-94%, although I truly believe it's the software, not defective batteries. One time it said 44%, and sat there for 4ish hours, until it finally reached that level, and started dropping. Also, the software is annoying to display your battery life. You have to open the software, go to settings, click on your headset, and it'll tell you. It feels a bit cumbersome to keep doing. I wish this was integrated better. Also takes a solid 30 seconds to connect. So turning it off to go do something can be a bit frustrating when you're still sitting in a game lobby, and you're waiting for it to connect.Software out of the way, the battery life is pretty average (a con in my opinion). If you do a marathon gaming session for one day, you'll definitely need to plug it in at the end of it. 2-3 days would be nice, but it's fine, the wireless factor makes up for it.The range is also pretty poor. It's probably 20% worse than my regular bluetooth headphones, constantly disconnecting when I go downstairs, and sometimes just a room over. There's also a constant hissing in the right cup. I say it's a con and not a defect because it seems nearly everyone gets this. I feel like it's interference due to the fact the volume changes of it when moving your head around. Also increases when you physically touch the mic (however removing the mic doesn't change anything). And last, it just kind of sucks there isn't an aux out. The fact I can remove the mic makes me really want to be able to plug this into my phone when I'm out, so I can use them as headphones, since they truly do look great.lets talks about the pros - It's got beautiful design, feels incredibly sturdy, and when it comes down to it, it's primary functions are all amazing (sound, mic, being wireless). The controls on the headset itself are easy to use, and nothing's in a weird place. Day 1, you'll be able to adjust volume, muting without thought. I also love that the mic is removable. It's a nice feature you don't see too often. I also have a desktop mic with (obviously) much better quality. So at times when I want to use that, I don't need to have this thing sitting in front of my face all the time. The mic itself is great, it basically morphs into any position you want it to (honestly the best of all headsets I've had).Summary - This headset offers incredible value. It looks great, feels great, sounds great, and lets you not worry about cables. Yes, the software is extremely tedious, battery is barely 'okay', and the range can be a bit frustrating, but what you get is more than what you paid for, and for this I definitely recommend this headset.

Great headset for the price. You really can't go wrong with these.
Love these headphones. Great sound and the fake 7.1 actually isn't bad. I also use a HD598 and I would have to say they sound similar. The bass is heavier in the HS70s but I can live with it. I just like the convenience of no cable. Got really tired of my HD598s cable constantly getting tangled with my mouse of Keyboard. My PC is on my right and the cable from the HD598 is on the left. What really got me was the feel and quality. They have this heft to them, they are not heavy to wear but when you pick them up they have this solidness to them. My HD598s feel flimsy compared to the HS70. The SE colour style is another thing, they look like they should cost double what they really are. I still can't believe they are so cheap for a wireless headset with this level of sound and build quality. The only 2 things I don't like are, 1) even if you have them hooked up charging, when full they will stop charging. You leave them for a day then grab them put them on, you think they would be at 100% because they have been hooked up charging for a day, nope they will be anywhere from 90% all they way down to 25%. At least that has been my experience. I get it is to protect the battery but there has to be a way for it to keep topping up the battery while connected to a charging cable. The 2nd is that to check battery level you have to open the Corsair app then click on the headset and then the advanced tab. Why not have it show in the windows taskbar? Other than those 2 peeves it's a good headset worth the money.
