Q: What is the difference between this product and Optimum No Rinse wash and shine?

Per Optimum Car Care: Opti-Clean has more protective agents to allow you to tackle a dirtier surface than ONR - this works if you have medium dirt (no grit - knock off grit with a hose rinse). If your car is very dirty then use the 2-bucket method with a high-quality, high-lubricity shampoo (Gtechniq or Meguiars Gold Class). In the winter I follow with a second wash using Gyeon Bathe + (has SIO2 for added hydrophobicity) and a very soft mitt or sponge.

Q: anyone use these as a clay lube???

No, I've never heard of anyone using it as alt lube. ONR at 16:1 makes an awesome clay lube & is very cheap by the gallon when broken down

The Opt-Clean is an all purpose cleaner with a synthetic protectant, and the Wash and Shine has a natural carnauba in it.

Opti-Clean is a waterless wash that you spray on and wipe off, ONR can be used as a rinseless wash, quick detailer or clay lubricant depending on the dilution.

this works great and leaves the car shiny

I was as skeptical as everyone else about a water less car wash. However, this works great and leaves the car shiny. It took all of about 9 minutes for me to do the entire car. The only advice I could give is that you must change cloths between wet and dry. I use 6 cloths 3 for each function. Simply spray wipe off dirt then change to dry cloth and wipe clean. Great product.

Terrific!

This product is excellent! It’s very easy to use, doesn’t require any water and leaves a fantastic shine. I even spray directly to a soft cloth and then wipe the tire rims.

Water Free Cleaning

Great water free cleaning - using it for the motorcycle and works great. Nice on those days you do not want to break out the bucket and hose.

Pretty impressed.

Took this to a bike rally recently. Drove through a storm and the bike was wrecked. All I had was this spry bottle and three towels bike was sparkling when I finished. Pretty impressed.
