iFi Zen Blue V2 HiFi Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver Desktop DAC for Streaming Music

I needed to have Bluetooth on my A/V amplifier.Simple, and you will need two RCA cables and AC power converter.I selected an unused RCA input ( AUX 2 ) in my A/ V amplifier. And plugged in power.The unit found my Bluetooth signal from my Android cellphone.Improved sound definition.

I decided to make my quiet room an audio streaming room.! I have a violent record player and very nice speakers! I’ve been using this nonstop for a year. It never fails. It sounds fantastic. You should buy this.! Instead of buying one that’s cheaper

Out of the box this unit works like a charm and sounds wonderful too. I am using the optical output connected to a brand new Yamaha Amp. Very very easy to set up. It paired immediately to the bluetooth on my iphone 14 Pro Max and I was enjoying some powerful sound from my iTunes library and Amazon Music. What a crisp clear sound with this unit transferring the signal through my Yamaha Amp and then going to 2 premium tower speakers and a subwoofer. Sounds just like a cd playing. There are also other options for connecting this unit. I chose optical because to me it is a superior connection but it also has RCA left and right jacks too.

I looked at a bunch of different blue tooth options for my old receiver. And decided from other people videos on spending the money on this unit. I’m very happy with this decision. It hooked up so easy and paired immediately. But what I was concerned with was the range. That’s why I picked this one because it had the more powerful antenna. And lemme tell you. This is inside upstairs in my living room. We have it hooked to speakers for inside and outside the house. Patio and deck. Porch etc. I can walk way out into my yard and still didn’t lose signal. At least 100+ feet away from house with phone in my pocket and still hear it jamming perfect. No lag delay or buffer. This is why I’m glad I spent the extra money on a quality product. I’m not an audiophile type person. I just like good music and for it to sound like it should. And this does that perfect for me. I’m very pleased We’re listening to it now on the patio by the fire pit. Love it !

Great sounding bit of kit for the money. Added it to my stereo system so i can stream my playlists; really handy for when your entertaining etc. Build quality is really nice too, doesn't feel cheap or like it was an after thought. I've connected to my stereo via the balanced output and using with my iphone. The sound is very good no issues. Also, the bluetooth range is very good as I've used it throughout the house without issue. Highly recommended.

I didn't expect the device to be so sleek and substantial. The device is heavy so it stays put on the countertop even with cables pulling at it or pushing the pairing button. I get coverage all over my large back yard, even while in the pool down low.

Easy to set up and provides excellent sound via Amazon Music and other sources.Update: After noticing that the unit did not hold pairing as promised (up to eight devices), I contacted iFi and noted that the firmware upgrade that was mentioned on their webpage was not available to Apple users. They sent me a shipping label. I sent the unit to them, but they took a long time getting it back to me. When it came, I soon discovered that nothing had changed. Connect one device--fine; go to another--no good. Come back to the first device--need to start pairing again.It would appear that this device is not suitable for use with Apple phones, iPads, and laptops. They --and Amazon--should say so up front. My return window has closed, so I just have to deal with it as it is.
