SwiGO Polycarbonate 15, 30, 45, 60 Mins Timer Switch for Water Motor Pump Up to 2 HP Single Phase Direct Supply without Starter or Above 2 HP Three Phase Motors with Starter (White)

The product works as advertised, looks sturdy. I used it with a single phase submersible 1.5 HP water pump.An Anchor branded mounting box was included along with the two screws to mount the SwiGo unit to the box. However, the screws to the mount the box itself to the wall weren't included (not a big deal, but when paying Rs 1699 for the product, I'd have expected the kit to include everything required).Shared the included wiring diagram to the electrician, but he took 1-2 tries to get it right, probably because of the varying layouts of the motor starter itself. When using the SwiGo with a motor starter, we'd need to first set the time on the SwiGo unit, then start the motor as usual using the "Start" button on the starter. After the set time, the SwiGo triggers the motor to switch off. There is a blinking red indicator on the SwiGo while it is in operation to identify the time that was set.Coming to the price, I felt Rs 1699 is really high for the product as is. Many other reviews also mention this, but something around Rs 800 would have made this product sell like hot cakes. Even so, personally the relief of not bothering about turning off the water pump is definitely worth it.Update 15/Jul/2021: Towards end of May 2021, there was a flash and sound from the device with black residue on the sides and the box, causing the circuit MCB to trip multiple times. It looked like something burned inside, although the device was still powering on. As I didn't want to take any risks, the device was disconnected right away. Since the product was still under warranty, I sent an email to info@eviqds.com with images and copy of invoice asking about the warranty replacement process. I also reached out to the contact numbers on the Amazon listing which I learned later that it belonged to the distributor / seller Namotrics. The manufacturer EViQ responded within a day or two and advised to work with the distributor Namotrics for the replacement, however as this was during the lockdown, I was asked to wait until lockdown restrictions were relaxed.Mid June Namotrics asked me to send the defective item to their office in Chennai. I shipped the product at my expense to them, however citing lack of stock I was asked to wait till early July. The lack of stock issue might have been correct cause during that time, the product was not available for sale on Amazon as well. Early July, Namotrics reached out to me and asked me to send them Rs 200 to cover return shipping expenses and honestly I was a bit annoyed.I have had products replaced under warranty numerous times and never have I been asked to pay return shipping costs. Usually I cover the shipping cost one way to send the defective item and the manufacturer covers the cost to ship the replacement to me. Some companies even arrange return pickup hence covering the shipping cost both ways. I expressed my displeasure of being asked to pay the return shipping cost by the distributor to EViQ (manufacturer), they promptly apologised and offered to send a replacement directly the very next day. Kudos to them!Overall, despite the delays (it was definitely outside of their control and I perfectly understand) and the small hiccup with the return shipping cost which was also handled nicely by the manufacturer, I felt the replacement process went well.

It is really a good product but little expensive. Should be around Rs 800/- range or less considering many digital options coming in this range. This is just my opinion. I have recently purchased it and It is function appropriately. I must say, it is promising product to give comfort of timing the run time of the motor.You have to be little careful in choosing the size of the wires for installation as the connectors for phase and neutral are too close to cause accidental short circuit with thick wires. Use 2.5 sq. mm wires for connection with insulation cover.

Excellent product, very easy to install. I am using it for 3phase 2kw submersible pump.Using since more than a month. No problem till now.It really reduced my tension.Just set the time as per your requirement and relax.before buying I thought the product price is little bit high. But after using it got relaxation from tension so it is really worth full.I usually get disturb because of tank over flow after water tankful. I don't like water wastage...the tank water over flow will irritate me. Now I am fully relaxed with no thought of again switching off the motor.

When I searched for a solution to automatically stop my geysers after a few minutes. I choose this as it looked different and of course, Amazon has good return policy.I received it fast and the finish quality and ruggedness is really impressive, which I did not expect. We could connect it easily and it is very simple to operate. I am thinking i should put it up for other geysers and motor as well.I will need to monitor for more time to comment its durability.

Very useful and works as described. I have yet to see how it performs in the long run and will update the review. Overall the build quality seems good.A couple of things not clear in the item description -1. This is a modular unit and will fit in a standard 2 module electrical box. It comes with a surface mounted anchor 2 module plastic box but could be install recessed for a more finished look.2. It is made in India - so I’m hoping it will last longer than cheap Chinese items.

Many a times you forget to switch off the water pump and it runs dry for an hour or sometimes even more, which ultimately leads to malfunctioning of your precious water pump. Thanks to this timer switch, you can really breathe a sigh of relief. Previous to this, I bought another timer with hosts of weekly and daily timers which was totally useless and difficult to understand. But this one was a saviour, especially if you have to use water pump quite often. Just press the preset timer of your choice and forget everything else. Instillation was simple and won’t take more than half an hour. Will definitely order again.

It's been a week and works perfect. I'm using for geyser. The seller was helpful and even called to offer assistance / queries on installation. I got it installed by normal electrician in standard concealed box. We were using legrand earlier and I think anchor also same size fittings.

Superb quality and finishing.. The plastic /fiber is thick and feels strong.. Overall, you can feel that it is a premium quality product. And, it is made in India (as the manufacturer claims). If it is really made in India, then it's good that we have started producing good quality products..The timer function also works fine. I added it to the existing water motor switch.
