Euphoric Album, and Great Sounding Vinyl
First off, as impressed as I am with the band's climate efforts I was hesitant about the recycled vinyl and how it would sound, I shouldn't of doubted them, it sounds superb. The album has an largely overall euphoric sound, something that if you've seen Coldplay live you'll recognise only too well! I can it imagine how energising some of this new music will feel live! Bring on next summer! If you want old Coldplay, dust off their back catalogue! If you simply love great music, give this a few spins and it will get under your skin. The theme of this album is 'alien' and on many occasions you can allow your imagination to sweep you away as the music twists and turns, it can be mesmerising. The 10+ minute track Colortura sums that up superbly, an ambitious undulating score which fleets between catchy vocals, chiming instrumentals and rousing orchestration.People of The Pride is simply one of, if not the best track of 2021. So un-Coldplay and yet so engaging and thumping. Glam rock influences (think Spirit in the Sky on Vodka Rebulls) and heavy lyrics. A genuine masterpiece. The only song I find a little hard to warm to is Bytiful or whatever odd way they're spelling it. It has a nice melody and it's better when Chris Martin is singng, but the slightly cheesy lyrics and sped up intro vocals are too distracting for me.Listen a few times before you decide, and open your mind when you do. It's different to their norm, and it's great music.

A good album well worth a listen
I have all the Coldplay albums and quite like them without being a massive fan. My favourite albums of theirs is probably a Head Full of Dreams or Mylo Xylota but I suppose on all their albums I really like a few tracks. I thought their last album Everyday Life was very different and pretty good. This album is good. Some what I would say typical Coldplay and one could see it being played in the arenas. It is it seems to me amore focused album than some in the past. It has some great songs such as Higher Power but the whole album is worth a listen and I found myself drawn into it and not skipping over anything. I have had a few listens and it might just become my favourite. Their best? Maybe not? But who knows? It is all so subjective. I think it is as good as what has gone before and better than some. If you like Coldplay, my guess is you will not be disappointed. It is far more focused than Everyday Life. A good album and well worth a listen.

Their Back to Normal.
Every track is great some are brilliant, so all is good. One thing I don't like is Chris straining his voice, its not good for the vocal chords and he should stop itI have only one favourite and that's Human sounds like a Kodaline song of the same name.Still I am very glad all their experimental stuff is over and they're them again. As for the actual music side of the album they're unbeatable musicians for sure. The videos are amazing as wellPeople give older people stick for liking Coldplay, but they should really listen to them an not be so judgmental about themTheir concerts are amazing and value for money unlike London grammar who are charging £178 for a ticketSumming up, brilliant great amazing and thank god their back on track

It just gets better, keep playing it
I brought this album for my daughter after seeing Coldplay recently for the incredible Music Of The Spheres world tour. Not only does it rekindle the memories of the concert so well; the album gets better and better with each listen. It has inspired me to purchase the entire back catalogue of Coldplay on vinyl as it is so superior to cd in richness of sound.I don't normally write reviews but wanted to comment on the recycled vinyl - really admire the continued efforts of the band towards the planet and sustainability. A tip on the first play: I needed to adjust the weight arm on my deck (Technics 1200) to stop skipping. On the second and third play adjust the weight back and everything plays and sounds perfect.

We are all aliens to someone from another world.
Hopefully when they discover us Chris Martin can greet them with his earthly ever evolving musical style. Coldplay continue to amaze me. I don't understand those that long for tracks like Yellow and In My Place. Great tracks, I have all the Cd's but I don't try to compare tracks from 2000 and 2021. If you are stuck in the past don't bother buying music you are going to be disappointed by. Personally I love everything they do. Perhaps one day I will think that they are past their best but I still love the way Coldplay have evolved. There is an energy to their music that I love. This is a great mixture of styles and collaborations with the most unexpected artists. BTS is not a boy band I would listen to or Selina Gomez but for some reason it works within the context of a Coldplay album and it gets better with every play.
