Amazing picture quality
Pleasantly surprised by how good this lens is for the price. I am sure Sony would be a notch higher but for an enthusiast like me, this was enough to raise my game. Will highly recommend

Good lens, cheap build
This lens is quieter than the Mk1 but the build is not the best. Feels like a nifty fifty, i.e. plasticy.

Great, sharp glass!
Sharp! Eye autofocus works great. Looks great on the camera body. The lens itself is a plastic material which makes the lens very light.Pictures are from Aiv and Samyang 50mm f1.4 II

Broken in transit?
The media could not be loaded. the lens would not work on a Sony a7IV. the focus mechanism was loose, or broken. (see video)I reached out to Samyang, but no response, so I returned the lens. I'm a little gun shy about ordering another one. Trying a Sony 50mm f/1.8 as a substitute.
