Love it
Easy to get your saw in and out. Fits in like a glove with the Bora NGX rail. Moves smoothly along the rail and guides straight. Much, much better system than the Kreg Accu Cut. Great alternative to expensive track saw systems. I also recommend the Bora Router Guide that you can use with their rails. Cut many superbly accurate dados with that one.

Great Idea Love it except the choosing process
I wanted to share my experience with using BORA tools recently. Overall, I have been very impressed with the products they offer. However, I believe there are a few areas where improvements can be made.Firstly, I feel that BORA tends to release their products too early in the design phase. This can make it difficult to determine which item is the newest model, as they frequently change and upgrade their products. For instance, when I purchased the first item, 544001, it was good, but I encountered an issue with it not accommodating the newer battery-powered circular saw. The battery blocked the rear clamp from engaging and being grabbed by hand. As a result, I had to return that item and purchase a different one that worked with my circular saw. I'm happy to say that this particular model worked wonderfully, although I did face some challenges with the rails. Thankfully, BORA quickly sent out a solution based on my suggestions, which resolved the issue. After applying the new parts, I had no hassle and the tool worked like a charm. While I appreciate the responsiveness of the company to inquiries and their willingness to listen to customer feedback, I do believe there is room for improvement. Specifically, I think the design could have been sturdier and could benefit from some sort of frame to enhance stability during setup. Additionally, I found the setup process itself to be quite challenging, partly because BORA lacks comprehensive instructions for their products. These factors are why I have deducted one star from my rating.Despite these shortcomings, I genuinely believe that BORA is a promising company and is heading in the right direction. They are receptive to feedback and even implement changes if they make sense. Granted, they may be a younger company, but they have the potential to grow and improve. I fully support them and look forward to reviewing more of their products in the future. For those considering purchasing a BORA tool, I recommend thoroughly examining their full lineup to ensure compatibility with your particular model saw. In my case, I used a RIDGID 18V BRUSHED 6-1/2 IN CIRC SAW (Model Name: R8655). Unfortunately, it did not work with the first model (544001), but it did work with the one I eventually purchased here.Thank you for your attention, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.

Should have read reviews prior to puchasing.
Not thrilled with this. While it does work, the poor execution of the clamping mechanism cause it to slip after just 5 uses. I guess I will try shimming it next.

Flimsy
This thing is flimsy. I read it was flimsy in the other reviews but thought heck, I have been wood working for many years and bet I could get it to work. People, do not buy this thing. It is in fact flimsy. Also, it does not fit the saw I have. Yes I checked before I bought it. The pivot hinge on the back of the saw made the saw slip out of the guide. I had to modify the guide to let the saw fit better and it still was not a good fit. Also the Cut measure marks dont line up with the blade so you will wind up mounting the saw in it then marking the guide with a maker where it will cut. Now, to explain how flimsy it is. When you make one cut and lift the saw to move it to the next location the flimsy guide just falls off the saw under it's own weight. This thing is pretty light and for it to fall off is just ridiculous. I made it tor for the application, but it was not worth buying and I recommend buying something else. Side note, I have the track from Bora that this thing fits on, so that wasn't the issue.

Super Accurate
I used this for cuts on a large cabinetry project for my garage. I used maple ply and needed to be super careful with my cuts as the sheets ran about $80.This locked onto my cordless Milwaukee perfectly. It's super easy to lock in and then remove the saw quickly. I looked at the Kreg version of this but didn't like that you had to mount it with set screws.Seems to be made out of very durable plastic, with a rubber grip surface. It's heavier than I expected (in a good way). I dropped it a few times accidentally and there wasn't any damage or issues with accuracy that I noticed.

Fits Most Circular Saw.
It's made of Hard, Sturdy Plastic. Worksgreat with Bora NGX Clamp Edge. the onlyissue I have with the Bora Saw Plate is thatit did not work with my Milwaukee RearHandle Circular Saw. the shoe measure33 1/2, the Bora Saw Plate Max opening is around 31 1/2. With that said, measure the shoe of your Saw to make sure it fits the Bora Saw Plate.
