This is my second IPL, my first one was by Silk’n. I decided to replace it because the light window on that unit was very small, so it took a long time to do legs.This unit is great, it is comfortable, easy to hold, has a larger light window, and has intuitive controls. I love the ice cooling feature.I have only used the hair removal mode. They don’t give any information on the 2 other modes, so I am some what skeptical about them.For hair removal, this is great. On the lower power levels, it is ready for the next flash right away. You could do your legs lickety split, but I like to turn it all the way up. On level 9, high, the unit pauses between flashes because it gets hot internally. This prolongs the life of your unit, but it means it takes longer to do an area. Not much of a difference if you are doing your armpits, but it definitely adds up on your legs. To do both legs, knees to ankles, takes approx 25 minutes.My old unit did the same thing, so I think that is pretty standard for an at home IPL.

After using it just three times, sparingly (on upper lip area only), it no longer powers on. I tried switching outlets and USB ports. Nope. Wish I could give it zero stars. I’m not even going to bother contacting the Chinese manufacturer. I don’t expect they will resolve it…since I’ve had no luck with failed products made in China before. I should have known better 😡

Works well and pretty easy to use. The device can be hard to use on certain areas of the body. Especially the face. There are other provides out there with easier handling but for the price of this one it was a no brained and gets the results I’m looking for!

Great product for summer upkeep.

Update: after just having for about 5 or 6 weeks, the cold feature stopped working. Pressing it just turns off the unit. In fact, that’s how I have to turn on the unit, the instructions are incorrect. I’ve reached out to the seller. I bought this one specifically for its strength of the light and the cooling feature.Original review: The first one didn’t work. So I had to return and get a replacement which is a PITA for me. I probably should have just bought a Kensi but wanted something cheaper and had the cold setting. This one is ok but I constantly accidentally press the button that changes the power level and have to reset. If you want something economical, this one will do the job. I’m not sure what the diff is between hair removal and skin treatment since the information from the manufacturer is minimal . It does work but will take longer vs professional but professional is ridiculously e pensive and you can effectively do your whole body with this. Def worth giving a go before going to a professional PLUS it’s never permanent so good to have a device to keep up with it. I had professional hair removal years ago but it’s not perm and follow up. Don’t be put off by professionals trying to make this seem ineffective or dangerous. It’s not dangerous and is effective, just takes more time.

This product is just what I needed to permanently remove the unwanted hair on my body. I've used it for a couple of weeks now, and I've already notice less hair growth in the areas that I applied this "Laser Hair Remover" to. Very good product, it will save anyone who purchases it a lot of money in the long run. The only recommendation I'd make to the company: Is to make the "activation bottons" a lot less sensitive to the touch. The settings tend to change too easly when handling the device.

I love how portable and affordable this product is. I have tried it on my facial hair, and see a noticeable difference after only three treatments! I also lasered my legs, and am currently in the process of lasering my thighs. The IPL hair remover causes some slight discomfort but does have a cooling feature which helps. I simply watch a Netflix movie/show to keep myself distracted while doing the hair removal treatments. Do not hesitate to purchase this, as it really will reduce/remove any unwanted hair from your body. I am very pleased with my results thus far.
