Nice cards / activities to connection emotions and social interactions for little ones
In these post-COVID times, quite a few young kiddos didn't quite get the normal social interactions that help them learn how to work with others and how to recognize and constructively deal with their emotions. Even those that weren't impacted by daycares, preschools and elementary schools closing due to the pandemic missed out on facial expressions that kids learn from with everyone around them wearing masks (sometimes even including the kiddos themselves). These cards are a great way to help a little one learn a bit more about how to interact with others and how to deal with their own emotions. Each one has a lesson to learn through an activity or craft (some of the activities and crafts do require outside materials, though none of them are odd things and you likely have most of them around your house). The little plastic ring is a nice way to keep the cards together and allow you to separate them if you want to. The durability of the ring I'm unsure of since it is plastic, but it would be easy enough to replace it with a metal one. The cards themselves are nice and big, colorful and coated to be resistant to spills and dampness (though they're not waterproof by any means). They should prove to last, even in the hands of little kids. Our little one is 5 and he enjoyed doing a lot of the activities though he did need some assistance / help with reading the cards of course. While I'm not a therapist by any means, these do seem to be helping and that's well worth the price of entry. So if you have a little kiddo that could benefit from a refresher (or initial lesson) in social and emotional interactions, give these a try!

Helps children learn about their emotions
We were pretty happy with these activity cards. The overall quality was fairly good. The ring holding them together is not the best, but still functioned. The cards were sturdy and durable. I also appreciate that these are easy to store. The tasks on the cards varied and some were much more difficult then others. I used these with my six year old son and would say he was right at about the perfect age for these. My three year old daughter could do some of the tasks, but not all. Overall, I would recommend these!

Packed with useful ideas for quality time and social emotional development
This pack of task cards is so worth it. Both of my older sons struggle with lagging behind their peers in social emotional development. This deck is full of activities and discussion prompts to help them get in touch with their feelings and learn about ways to navigate social situations. Some activities they can do by themselves and some are group activities. The cards are divided by color into 8 sections such as emotions, kindness, mindfulness and regulation (see pictures). They are also hole punched in the upper left corner and the deck comes with a big plastic ring to keep them on. My sons and I did one of the activities that involved using blocks to build a tower, and each time one of us placed a block we said something that we were grateful for. I was surprised at how much they enjoyed the activity, and they even said they were grateful for each other (it's not information they would normally volunteer).
