Olivia-17" [100% European Hair Mannequin]

She is pretty, Not the scary face that many of these manikins tend to display. The false eyelashes and light make up job are a nice touch. For the price you will probably not find nicer hair at this length. That being said, remember that overall length is measured from the forehead down to the back of the hair when I did this measurement the very last tip of the hair measured 22 inches, but if you trimmed those stragglers 17 was fairly accurate. From the scalp out to the end of the strand all of the hair on the head actually measured about 12 inches long. Shedding is expected but not a ton I don’t think. Because this hair is fine and platinum blonde be gentle when detangling and blow drying and I’m sure that will help with shedding, just like you would on a normal person with fine hair. Slightly pale yellow blonde upon arrival a dip in purple Pravana shampoo proved this platinum color that I’m showing in the pictures. The hair is very soft and flat upon arrival, so a shampoo and blow dry and she shaped up. With a little product it will be fantastic for the upstyling I plan to use her for. This would also make a great manikin for haircutting and bright coloring techniques as her color is so light. The hair feels fantastic. The only reason I’m getting this for stars as I wish there was a little bit more hair density. But honestly fine hair isn’t usually thick!Follow up...shedding is awful tangling is awful. Even after conditioning mask I could barely get my hands through her hair to curl it. If you’re cutting this manikin or coloring it fine but $100 seems expensive to do that unless you need a blonde pallette don’t bother with this one Cannot handle updo styling hair is way too fragile guess that’s what I get for getting a blonde.

The media could not be loaded.  In my opinion, I’d rather order the doll head from Hair Arts actual website. It ends up being $10 or so more but the dollhead is way better quality. I was excited to see this on amazon because it meant that with prime it would arrive sooner but it has soooo much less hair than from the actual website which is disappointing. Wouldn’t order again. The blonde one is Amazon and the blue haired one is from Hair Art website. Also take into account that the blue one has had a hair cut but you can tell it’s so much thicker.

If you are looking to practice coloring techniques this is the only mannequin I would recommend! True platinum human hair that takes semi permanent dye like a dream (I use Pulp Riot) and was even able to use direct dye remover (Blank Canvas with 6 vol) and dye again... three times!

I was hesitant about spending $100 on a mannequin, but I am so happy I took the plunge. In most cases, You get what you pay for! I use this to try new color techniques and combos. Great quality hair that holds vivids well and also easily removes color with the right product. Would purchase again and recommend to anyone!

I really love this head for playing with vivids without that extra step of lightening there is less damage to the hair. The quality is awesome and I only thing I wish is that I had more money to buy a few more.

This mannequin is very beautiful and it was the first ever mannequin I gotten with platinum blonde hair. I love her already and can't wait to do different styles but idk if I want to color her. I wish HairArt continue making olivia with longer lengths and probably even make her look the same but give her shoulders and pierced ears in the future. I just done a youtube review on her and I will be keeping her updated with different youtube videos on how I style as well as if I will color her or not

Very beautiful and lifelike. Use your imagination and have fun. Just her head sticking out from the covers is great company.
