Very pleased with this KVM
I purchased this to replace a 4-port PS2 KVM since I had recently purchased a USB keyboard. I am switching between an XP machine and a Linux (Zorin) machine. I use a wired USB Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and wireless USB mouse which was part of a mouse-keyboard pair (Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 2.0A) - the keyboard wore out. After connecting the KVM, both the XP and Linux machine needed a short period of time to recognize and install hardware drivers. On the XP machine, I had to uninstall the Microsoft Intellipoint software so it would recognize my left handed configuration. With this in mind, installation went smoothly and I am very pleased with the usage after two days. The double-press, scroll-lock hotkey is responsive and reliable - more so than my previous PS2 KVM. Audio, video, keyboard and mouse functionality and quality are thus far identical to being hooked directly to either PC.I haven't tested the USB 2.0 funcitonality by adding a USB hub to the mouse port. Also, I have a wireless Logitech keyboard that I may test soon, and may post a comment accordingly. Thus far, for the price, this has been a great value for me.

Truely DOES work with Wireless Keyboard and Mouse COMBO
I purchased this KVM because my IOGEAR (GCS632U) Did not work with my new Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo ("Microsoft Wireless Comfort 5000 2.4Ghz). I went through 3 sets trying to get them to work with the IOGEAR switch and could not get anything to work. Weird because my OLD Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and mouse did work with the IOGEAR switch. I guess the new 2.4 GHZ USB adapters do not like the IOGEAR switch. This switch on the other hand, works PERFECTLY with my new keyboard and mouse. It really saved the day (I was ALMOST about to go back to wired, YUK).I have the 2.4GHZ usb adapter that came with the wireless keyboard and mouse plugged into the keyboard port of the switch. My Windows XP laptop (that is in a docking station) and my Windows 7 Tower are now switching back and forth (using the scroll lock key) perfectly, it never misses.I hope this hels someone, because I spent quite a bit of time researching this before I found a combo that would work! Here is the keyboard and mouse I am using: Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 Keyboard and Mouse Set - BlackMicrosoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 Keyboard and Mouse Set - Black

USB 1.1 not 2.0!!
This KVM is USB 1.1 NOT 2.0 ! this is clearly false advertising. It did not work with my wired gaming mouse.

Not bad, could be better
I bought this KVM because I needed one that worked with Windows 7 (many do not). It actually works, which is good. However, it is missing some features that I consider important: a microphone connection, and buttons on the actual switch to change the input computer. Also, the audio wire is too short to reach across my laptop, which places the input on the opposite side as the VGA input. I don't know of any better KVM that is compatible with Windows 7 for under $100 so I guess this is as good as it gets.

Good price and functional...
I use this to switch between my MacBook Pro and a Windows desktop that dual boots Ubuntu. No problems with the switching at all. Only issue is with the sound pass-through. It is terrible. Pops, buzzes, hisses on both the laptop and desktop. I finally gave up and just plug my speakers into the Mac when I want good sound. Had the speakers pass-through worked, would have been a five-star purchase.
