I've been using these for mini terrariums, for gifts and fundraising, they are brilliant, not too tiny but small enough to fill easily.I'm going to save some for making Christmas cookie jars, they look lovely with the cork lids and a little ribbon round the neck and I can see they would be great for lots of different crafts and reusable too.

These 200ml glass jars are a practical choice, especially for candle making, but equally for storage sauces, jams, herbs and spices. They really are quite versatile and a decent size for all of those things. The clear design nicely shows off coloured candles. The addition of cork lids and tags makes them perfect for gifting and my son and I plan to make a bundle of scented candles in the new year, for ourselves and as gifts.The cork lids should hopefully preserve the candle’s fragrance, and the included tags make personalising them easy. With 40 jars in the set, we’ll use some for candles to gift, some to store spices, and we'll gradually use the rest for pickles and jams over time.The jars themselves are well-made, with a sturdy, durable glass construction that feels substantial and looks quite nice. However, they do have a slight seam visible on the side, which doesn’t affect their functionality but is noticeable upon closer inspection.Each jar comes with a plastic lid and a cork lid. The plastic airtight seal seems fairly, well airtight, with the second option to use the cork lids. They fit well enough but off course aren't airtight. You just can’t use both the seal and the cork together though - it’s one or the other. There are uses I haven’t yet thought of for these, I'm sure, but overall this set offers reasonable value at just under a pound a jar. They are practical and quite stylish when dressed up with the tag, string and cork, making it quite an attractive addition to any kitchen or for gift-giving.

These jars came exceptionally well packed in foam in the box. They are very attractive and have multiple uses. They are good for herbs and spices, make lovely gifts of home made preserves, candles etc. as there are so many I shall use some for my many spices, and also use the rest in my sewing room to house my beads, buttons and notions, having them in such sweet little jars on shelves instead of bags in a drawer will ensure they are used more. Great having the choice of cork stoppers (for the kitchen), or plastic, which fit tightly, for the beads, is a very good call. Very pleased with the set. Would make a lovely wedding gift.

For homemade presents, these jars are so useful and versatile. I was looking for some small jars for homemade sauce to give to friends and relatives this Christmas, and these are great for that. They hold a usable 200ml of sauce and have nice cork lids that give that homemade feel to the product (there are also plastic lids for a more airtight seal). This is enhanced even further with the twine finishing provided too.With 40 in the pack, I even have more left over ready for the jam season next year (homemade jam and sauce is so much better than shop bought).These are set to become one of my go-to packs when I need more jars.

There is also a good amount of twine and Kraft tags to label each jar. The glass is quite thick for the size - not too thin that it will break easily. It states on the Amazon product page that they are 'high grade food grade glass, high temperature resistant, oven and dishwasher safe, also can be directly heated in the microwave, but please remove the lid first'. This is great, so could be even used for jams. The measurements are about 7.25cm tall by 6cm diameter at the top, ballooning out to 7cm near the base. The cork stoppers fit in well and the plastic, BPA free, tops fit over giving a good seal. It is either the top or the stopper though, you can't use both at the same time.I am going to use them for favours at an upcoming wedding. I haven't decided what they will be filled with yet - possibly tea, coffee or even homemade jam. The current price of £38.99 is fair, in my opinion, for the amount, accessories and quality. I ordered these for my large collection of cooking spices, as I do a lot of Asian cooking and have about 20 different spices and dried powder etc. What I like about this set is that they are slightly wider and larger capacity than conventional spice jars. Although they take up more room, they can be stacked on top of each other if space is a premium.I like how they come with two types of lid as well as labels and string. They are nicely made and represented good value for money. I'm very happy with this set and can highly recommend.
