I purchased this portable DVD player for someone in the hosp. The patient didn't feel like anything was hers so i made sure to purchase a red dvd player, the color was eye catching and can easily be seen from far away. She's an elderly patient so with the movable screen it was easy for her to operate and volume levels were great!! I thought she was going to have a problem hearing it because she didn't have her hearing aids in but it was perfect. Durable and well made. Does come with a game controller but i would say its an emergency one. A true game player would probably use their own. Other than that this is an amazing little travel buddy. Great for all ages and easy to use. A+A+A+A++++

This one was purchased for my grandson who is almost 5. It comes in his favourite colour and the delivery was (in Alex's words) super duper fast. We got one before for his big sister and it is a bit to large for him to handle. This one is an ideal size for him to handle and play all his favourite dinosaur, Thomas Tank engine, and Paw Patrol movies without disturbing anyone else. He is super duper happy and so is his big sister. I am considering getting a large screen one for myself but that will have to wait a little while a yet as I am strictly on social security payments and that doesn't go far. I love the travel case for it because it will protect the player much better than the soft cover one his sister has. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and the product is very good. I like that they come in different colours also. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

One of my children uses this player for doing school work on the road. The DVDs don’t display full screen. There’s black area on top and bottom of the screen. The eject button is a little finicky. You have to press it in just the right spot for it to work. Screen quality is what I would expect at this price range. Overall, I don’t regret the purchase. It works fine for the occasions we need it.

After a few days of using our Coocau portable DVD player we are thrilled with how well it works. Movies looked as good as they do when watched on out TV. Sound quality it good. And it is easy to use. Glad we choose this player.

Edit* after only owning a couple days I’ve started having problems with this item. It could be a fluke and since I had a great experience initially I’ve only reduced to 3 stars. I cannot get a disc to play the first time. I’ve tried a couple different discs and have to put it in, take it out and clean it, then try again and again. I did finally get that working but then I can’t get the screen to display full. It only shows a widescreen version with all this extra black space at the top and bottom of the screen and there is no setting to change the screen function. It’s not the disc because it plays normal on a regular DVD player. I’m starting to wonder if I received a returned item because the interior box that held all the cords was smashed and there were no protective plastic pieces on anything. If that’s the case then I just got a bad deal but I’m not willing to chance it’ll happen again. I’ll be getting another unit. I’ve left my original review below and hopefully that is what everyone ends up getting versus how it changed for me.Original review:So far I’d say this is a decent portable DVD player. We’ve just opened it and put our first dvd in. My son loves that he can play any dvd he wants, including the other region ones that usually we can’t play since our region free DVD player broke. Picture quality is decent for the price and all the extra functions are great. Being able to use an external memory card is so helpful for long car rides, which was the purpose of this purchase. Can’t wait to test it out soon and see how it does.

I bought this product for my daughter to watch her movies, while traveling in the car. It is very user friendly and having the remote control makes it easier for me to make changes for her if needed. I had trouble with the disc cover/lid and and I felt that the device over-heated but as soon as I contact the company Beautisound, they helped me and solved the problem within days. There customer service is excellent.

I purchased a portable 12.5” Dvd player from Amazon. I received it in 2 days, perfect timing!I really like the dvd player, it is light, but a wonderful size for transporting. The picture size is excellent and the sound and picture quality is great! I bought this for my daughter to use in the house and in the car and I can’t be more pleased with size, quality, and price.

Piece of junk. The door spring broke after 2 uses. Since we were in the process of moving, I missed my return window by 1 day so I cannot even request a refund. It did have nice pic quality for the one movie my son was able to watch... the least the company could do is offer a replacement if I cannot return it..
