This paper advent calendar is really cute

Just like a remember as a child. I got this for my 4 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed the pictures and the classic words of “Twas the night before Christmas.” No chocolate or treats. Her Mom appreciated that! It was a reasonable price too. That’s important if you are buying for more than one grandchild.

Purchased two calendars, one for each of two families of great-grand children.The busy elfs whimsical image with hidden 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' story is perfect for the youngsters. Will buy Advent calendars again for each Christmas.Nice quality and requires children to hunt for the next window to open.

Advent calendars are a tradition in our family, and this one teaches our 3-year-old about the holiday with no muss and no fuss.

I searched for "Chocolate Advent Calendar" to send to my friend's children... each one was going to be different. I feel duped because there were 2 Elf Magic Advent calendars listed in the results and they looked identical... only a $0.50 difference between them, so I thought one vendor had a slightly better price... WRONG! This one has no chocolate! I'm sure it is a pretty calendar, but it is not what I intended to order!!! I sent 5 calendars, 3 had chocolate and 2 were this one..... worst of all... it'll cost more to return, than to just buy ones... so instead of saving money... I will now be spending more! Very deceptive of Amazon and Vermont Christmas to have this one show up on the chocolate advent calendar results page!!!

As a kid I used to get these beautiful glittery advent calenders from this older Norwegian couple at our ski lodge every Christmas. The windows would open up to little pictures of presents and scenes related to the holiday. I used to love opening each day's little paper window and adored those little paper advent calendars. Nowadays, so many advent calendars have prizes in the windows, little toys or candy, but I still like the old ones just with pictures. I found this advent calendar reminiscent of those I had as a kid from Shotsy and Ernie Seitz up in Big Pines, CA...this is a nice old-fashioned, non-electric, no frills package of fun.

Fabulous, good quality calendar that will help those count down to Christmas. Each year I buy several, which I then pass to nursing homes. The residents live them. Helps them count down the days!
