This little smoker has been the best grill I’ve ever owned, and I’ve spent over $3,000 on smokers before. For $83, I got four solid years out of it, only having to replace the grates once. It’s the perfect size for a small family (2-4 people), and despite its compact footprint, it feels big enough to handle four steaks at a time or even a small turkey.One of its biggest strengths is efficiency—you don’t waste charcoal, which makes it great for everyday grilling without burning through fuel. The only real design flaw is the placement of the wheels on the non-shelf side, making it awkward to move. But beyond that, it has been a reliable, sturdy, and surprisingly durable smoker.I’ve got one more summer left in it, but my wife wants a new one. Honestly, I’ll miss this thing. If you’re looking for an affordable smoker that punches well above its price tag, this is it.

Superb grill, I made some kick ass malai tikka boti with this thing. Get a charcoal rapid fire chimney to even heat the coal and you are set.The only negatives for me were the assembly which took forever and the grill plates that rust extremely quickly. Make sure you clean them after cooking and apply oil to prevent rust. I never bbqed before so learned this the hard way :)

The quality of this little grill is way above the old fashion round grocery store grills I bought as a kid and it is priced very attractively. This thing is very HEAVY, because it is made strong. I am very happy with this back yard grill.Now, about the missing star in the ratings. Assembling this grill was extremely difficult for me, but I can tell you how to make it easy. First, it helps if you know something about BBQ Grills, like what a Damper is and have an overall understanding of how a grill operates. All the pieces then will have some meaning to you. If you are a novice griller, I suggest you either invite a friend over who is a griller to assist you or google grilling for a spell.Second, and most important, search the Amazon comments/reviews for key words such as "assemble" or "put together" or even "I threw it in the river!" and print out some of the tips people have listed. I would never have succeeded in putting this together without the reviewer tips on Amazon!The company does not provide instructions but rather an entertaining puzzle sheet. Not all of the parts are listed in the front, they skip steps, and the laconic guidance is meant to challenge your mental springiness and ability to consume large quantities of liqueur. The pictures are part of the fun too, as they are incomplete, at poor angles and meant to confused rather than inform. Remember, each step is a puzzle! Enjoy! Drink heavily.Tip: Once you assemble the legs, the barrel (Grill body) sits on top, so make sure the screw holes in the top of the legs face INWARD. Not outward, as my photo shows. You insert bolts from inside the grill body into the top of those legs, and if the holes are facing out you will have to disassemble and reassemble the entire leg contraption. As I did.Tip: The ash drawer is inside the grill body. So, you can't insert bolts through into the top of the legs. Again, if you know grills, you would know the ash drawer slides out, and then you see the holes.I am not experienced with grills and not mechanically inclined in any way, shape or form. I have difficulty assembling a sandwich. So, if I can assemble this thing, you should be able to do so too. Just take your time, and again, search the Amazon reviews for other tips to assemble.
