Xerox works best and you get what you pay for
As expected, the box was certainly messed up and smashed but the item was ok.In the printer and working fine

Not what it is reputed to be...
This is the worst thing I could have ever done to save a few dollars. This NON-EOM cartridge leaks and has created a mess of my printer and everthing I tried to print. At first I did not realize, until I looked at the box and the quality of the print I was getting out of an expensive and high quality printer that the problem MUST be the black cartridge. I vow to never by any cartridges for this Xerox that are not OEM...original equipment mfg'd.

OEM, and best price around.
Yeah, I know it costs more than the generic toner cartridges, but if you believe that OEM is better quality and doesn't ruin your machine, then you buy OEM. You bought a Xerox printer because of the quality, so don't skimp on the toner. If someone can absolutely prove to me that generic toner isn't like fine sand going thru your printer and ruining the expensive parts, then I might change my mind, but my experience is that the generic stuff has ruined my previous printer.

Clean even color
Works great. Pricey but I’m afraid to use after market toner. I will say I’ve bought toner from Xerox before. It sat there for months and when I opened it it was leaking. They took it back with no problems.

Xerox 6022 printer - Update - Hot Fix for the Low Density 093-922 Check Black Cartridge Error
***UPDATE*** THERE IS A "HOT FIX" FOR THE 093-922 ERROR ON THE PHASER 6022 PRINTER! CALL 800-835-6100 Option 1 then Option 1. I talked to a GREAT technician Shane Roussie who walked me thru downloading the hot fix firmware and installing it on my 6022 over my wiifi network. So far the printer is working fine. IGNORE THE REST OF THIS REVIEW - THE PRINTER IS WORKING NOW. IF you are buying this black printer cartridge for a Phaser 6022 printer and you think it might solve your 093-922 black printer cartridge error, think again. My original "starter" black cartridge caused the printer to display this error. Several reviews online seemed to indicate the starter cartridges would not print too many pages, so I thought OK, I bought this new cartridge, plus a separate order for a complete set of all color cartridges - thinking it would solve the problem. I've got about $500 wrapped up in the new printer and all the new cartridges. The printer works great - WHEN it doesn't have the 093-922 error, but now the error is constant and cannot be cleared. I've tried shaking the cartridge, cleaning the contacts, resetting the printer, etc. So my first advice is - DONT purchase a Xerox Phaser 6022 printer. If you have purchased one, RUN, DON'T WALK, and return it to the dealer while you still can. My second advice is - DONT throw good money after bad trying to solve the problem by purchasing new cartridges - they are way too expensive to experiment on solutions. Is it the printer or is it the cartridge? - I don't know - but I got the same error with 2 brand new genuine Xerox cartridges. I'm seeing this identical complaint a lot online. Also, I'm STILL trying to register with Xerox My Support - it's darn near impossible.

Refilled
Cartridge received was obviously refilled and remanufactured. The casing itself *might* have been OEM originally (the original labels are covered or removed). It *might* be refilled with OEM Xerox toner, but there's no way to know. There's also no way to know the state of the electronics inside the cart. In other words, the condition, suitability, and trustworthiness of the product are not equal to a brand new OEM cart.I am not against refilled and remanufactured printer supplies as a way to save money. Unfortunately, the only thing verifiably equal to a new OEM cartridge was the price.
