I enjoy using this roller for muscle tension, especially of my legs, thighs and calves, as well as my upper back, posterior scapula or shoulder blades. I very much like and appreciate the firmness of it. I don't like foam rollers that break down and get mushy after several uses. It is very effective to relax tight muscles and I also like the small size. I find that small diameter, 3- 4inch foam rollers provide better and more effective relief ot tension pain than large diameter, ie 6 inch foam rollers. I like that I can pack it in suitcase and take it traveling with me, very easily. it is an excellent value and should last indefinitely due to good design and build quality.

This foam roller is the best! I bought it a while ago, and now I can’t imagine life without it. It has become a part of my everyday routine. The roller is firm, sturdy and easy to work with when rolling out my back. I get instant relief each time I use it. It’s always satisfying to hear my back crack! It’s worth the price!

The firmness of this roller is perfect for me. (155 lbs 70 y.o.) I use it daily to loosen up my back in the morning and prior to golfing. I wouldn't say that it improves my game though.It fits nicely in my suitcase and carry on.

I'm training for a race so I'm taking care of myself by rolling after every run (mostly). I wanted something small that I could easily travel with and could quickly be hidden when guests drop in. This foam roller checks the list on both of those items - I took it to a running camp in another state and it fit in my gym bag with no problem. However, as others have noted, it is small in diameter. I thought that would be fine since at 5'1" almost, I'm a fairly small person. The small diameter makes it a little tough to work on my calf without my heel dragging across the floor. It's not so bad with my hamstrings and quads. I'll likely buy a regular-size one for home and use this one for traveling.
