This has been some time since I was brought. Worked really well and stript paper without to much water every where, but one year on since last use, works just as well

Would have given 5 stars, but I would have preferred if it had stop valve on the nozzle to stop water dripping when moving from one place to another.

This wallpaper steamer takes all the hard work out of stripping the walls. It works a treat, just fill it up switch it on and you're ready to go. Very straightforward assembly and light weight with a long chord so there's no having to keep changing sockets as you're going. My only quibble is that there's no power switch on the unit itself rather then having to use socket switch or unplug it but it's not really that much of an issue. The bonus of a free scraper was also a big plus too. Highly recommended. I'm pleased I bought it!

Read reviews that said it didnt do well with woodchip but decided to try it moved into place with woodchip everywhere i wanted it off - i thought give it a go - so started once i got used to leaving the steamer on the place for the time stated i noticed the woodchip came off really easy prob cos there were a lot of coats of paint maybe helped it come off easier it seemed to melt the glue and warm the paint so was so easy to scrape off - i did a whole hallway over 4 hrs with stops for visiting workmen who also seemed very impressed long time water tank now i need to move on to a bigger livingroom full of woodchip ging to do it in stages so one wall then come back do another but up to now this has been a godsend . Just read the instructions and you are away!!!!

It's a good bargain and does the job as described. Will recommend to anyone who who wants embark on removing home wall paper even for first timers.
