They are mashed potatoes (instant ones) - what more do you want? You boil the water, you put the water in 'em, you stir it up. Is it as good as making your own potatoes with gold potatoes and chicken stock and cream and butter and time? No, no they are not. Is it about TEN TIMES EASIER? Yes, yes it is. And that is what you want for instant potatoes. Good size packet (plenty of leftovers for us, but perfect also for a larger family). Good potatoey goodness. Perfectly acceptable. Get you some of this and stick it in your pantry.

These are actually great-tasting. A few years back, I used them for a few months with Pot Roast or similar before I told my husband what they were (potatoes in our stores really sucked back then). While we're not a fan of all the crazy preservatives and additives, they actually taste really nice- if you use a bit less water on the front end and add a bit more milk and pat of butter when stirring- even a handful of shaved Parmesan.

I can't think of anything I dislike about these potatoes!! I just add a little coffee creamer to the when they're done and sometimes cheese. I've used the seasoned ones also and love them both. I sometimes make a quick cup of potato soup. They taste good and are easy to prepare. I buy the eight packages so they last quite a while for me.

Love these for a quick fix. Only problem was the packages are small, I didn't catch that when purchasing. I usually buy the larger size, so I have to use 2 for my family so didn't save any money buying this way like I thought I was.

Use potatoes as is or make a creamy potatoe soup or add to corn chowder. Just add waterIt has everything and alittle more
