I usually don’t write reviews even though I order from Amazon 20-25 times a month, but I had to for this trimmer. Before this one, I bought 4 other trimmers from different brands, some more expensive, some cheaper, all with good ratings. I returned every single one.One had a metal blade (back side not covered with plastic) that burned my skin after 10 minutes of trimming. Another took 20 hours to recharge (not mentioned in the description) and couldn’t be used while plugged in. One came used with hair in it. The last one didn’t have a 0.5mm setting, and without the guard/comb, the blade was so sharp it irritated/cut my skin.Finally, this 5th trimmer was perfect, no problems at all (none of the above). It took me 4 weeks to find a good one. Almost lost hope to find a good trimmer until I got this one and this is why I took the time to write this review to help other people facing similar problems with other trimmers

This is quick to charge and holds it charge for a while. It has plenty of power to get a good shave and is portable enough to travel with. It’s a great find for the price.

I needed this as my 6yr old Wahl was getting a little tired.Pluses: are the dial adjustable clipper comb. The long comb on the Wahl, you had to manually slide it to adjust and trapped the hair ,causing uneven shaving. Carrying case is a plus. Holds a long charge, (20+days) The micro shaver works well for touch ups (Not recommended for full shaving).Negatives: The brush for cleaning the head/unit is very cheap. (Only 4 little bristles) I use an applicator brush from an old Just for Men kit. This also doesn't come with oil. It's imperative you clean the head and add a couple drops of oil after every or E/O use. Corrosion will dull and chip blades reducing your clippers life. When purchasing this, invest in a can of 3-n-1 oil or clipper oil. I've had this about 3 mos and it has worked well. The clipper blades are a lot lighter and seem cheaper than the Wahl. I'm not expecting them to last as long. These are self sharpening blades. When they dull they pull and cut unevenly.

Performs very well. Straightforward cut, no need to go over again. Finally a trimmer that works like it’s supposed to. Well done. I haven’t even tried all of the other attachments and features yet, but I’m already very happy with this purchase. German engineering guys, you can’t go wrong.

Best razor I've ever used. Easy to maintain and has everything I need to keep my beard trimmed.

I’ve had this trimmer for a couple of weeks now and honestly love it. I’ve gone through a bunch of different trimmers over the years, and this one might be my favorite. The adjustable guard settings are great. You can really dial in the length you want, and it's very consistent all around. Doesn't catch or pull on the hair either and it's surprisingly quiet.The build feels pretty sturdy overall. I saw a few reviews mention the adjustment wheel breaking, but I think as long as you're not rough with it, it should hold up just fine. The travel case is a nice bonus.One thing to note is the guard can fill up with hair pretty fast, so you might need to go over the same spot a couple of times. But it still works great. I also like that I can plug it in for a minute or two and get enough charge for a quick trim if I’m in a rush.Overall, happy with it and got it for a solid price.

This has been a great shaver so far. It holds a charge pretty well, so I don't have to bring the charging cord with me when travelling. The attachments work well and it keeps the beard nice and clean. It's easy to clean as well with the little brush that comes with it. The case for the shaver might honestly be the best, makes it easy to pack without having to worry about the button getting pressed and it turning on in my bag.

Edit: does a poor job with head hair compared to Wahl trimmer. I bought this to trim head and beard hair while traveling and I would not buy it again. Works well as a beard trimmer. Still wish it had USB charging.Original review: I've owned several beard and hair trimmer over the years. This one might be my favorite. I bought it specifically for travel because it can cut beard and head hair and has a great system for adjusting the length without needing many plastic guards. With this, you only need 2 guards (included). Plus, it has a nose hair trimmer and some other extras and comes with a quality carrying case/bag.The only downsides I've noticed are related to charging. The first complaint I have is that it takes multiple hours to recharge, even if I only used it for about 15 minutes to trim my beard. If it supposedly has 80 min of charge available, then recharging should only require a short topping off. Clearly they need to implement fast charging which has become a standard in electronics in recent years. My last complaint is that it doesn't charge via USB-C!!! This should absolutely be standard on modern electronics like this. I don't want to carry around a big charging brick with proprietary connector in my travel bag when it could easily charge via USB-C like everything else. There are cables you can buy on Amazon that are USB-A on one side and Braun connector on the other. The first one I bought didn't work very well and I'm waiting on a different one to arrive to see if it works better.Overall, great product and fair price. Make sure you compare what the "upgraded" models offer. In my opinion, for my needs, they didn't offer any added value over what the base model offers at around 50 bucks.
