Nice
These are nice, they are too hard to make for my 8 year old, he needs a lot of help. Good value for the money.

Educational Value and Fun
Gifted this to my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He enjoys educational “toys”. There are individual packets to work on with easy step by step he can do with minimal supervision. Each module is not motorized which was his comment. Not designed for that! Would buy again.

Great STEM kits for a 6 year old, but not DIY
I bought this product with a few considerations in mind, but left with a few more points of interest than what I bargained for. I originally bought this as a STEM gift for my son that he could do himself. Here's what we thought after building one of the robots in this kit:The STEM concepts you will find in the booklets are solid. We built the obstacle avoidance robot first, and right on the front page it explains how the robot does what it does and what concepts it utilizes. The instructions were fairly well written and there were pictures for each step in the process. There was only one time where I had to piece together that we had to flip over the whole robot to start building on the top.Now for the gripes:It's definitely not something a 6 year old can do by themselves. The screws and wires for these projects are SMALL, and I'm lucky that we didn't lose anything important (although the kit we built did come with a few extra screws, which was nice.)The robot itself works fine, but it's not very sturdy, and you can't use every fastening point that the different parts come with since all the panels are universal in nature.

Best gift ever
Got this toy for my nephew! And started to get so many photos from my sister with my nephew playing, constructing, inventing and creating with it! Wonderful resource for media free time!

Super tiny parts
Great ideas and once they are built - mostly working. (The solar-powered robot didn't work for us.) Great ideas (wind powered solar powered, glider, object avoidance, and tank) but I'm marking down as 3 stars because the parts are JUST so, so, super tiny that it takes more manual dexterity and more grip strength than a 6 year old as labeled (that was our gift recipient) had. It was a good challenge for an adult, and even then the parts are just too small. I am a petite person with tiny fingers and fingernails to hold the tiny pieces together, but even then the 1mm "short screws" and 2 mm "long screws" were near impossible to screw in. But if you like challenges that takes ~1 hour per robot to build, back-breaking patience (literally), and don't mind repetitively dropping the screws (because they're so tiny!), then this is a decently priced project because when it all finally comes together you will feel an immense sense of relief - which may sometimes equate accomplishment for some.

Fun & educational
We got this for our 6 year old son and he absolutely has loved putting them together. The screws are really small so an adult has to help every once in a while but for the most part he was able to put together and has loved watching them move around!
