Nice Quality
These flaked almonds come in an handy plastic tub with a well fitting lid to keep the contents fresh. The flavour is nicely nutty with a sweet almond taste, and the texture is as you would expect from freshly flaked almonds. They are very handy to have in the 'baking cupboard' for baking or adding to cereals etc. My only gripe is the price – these have rapidly gone up from £3.99 to £5.99 and now £6.99 for 140 grams. Most supermarkets will be under £3.

Tasty flaked almonds
These sliced almonds are well packaged in the tub, there were no broken ones in the tub I received. The best before date was Dec 2024, so 11 months to use them. The price at the time of this review has decreased to ÂŁ3.99, which puts it more in line with other sellers but still more than supermarkets. The crunch and taste is good, and they are certainly fresh, just a little bit expensive.

Delicate flavour.
The media could not be loaded. Because they're so finely sliced/flaked there seems a HUGE amount in the tub. I like almonds but I'm not a great fan of whole almonds, no idea why, and my husband doesn't like almond flavour - I think that's because so many almond flavoured things use artificial flavouring. But he likes these. The flavour is delicate but unmistakably almond, and being finely flaked they're very easy to eat - the thinner flakes almost melt in the mouth. They are very suitable for snacking or cooking. I'll mostly be adding them to my morning Greek yoghurt and berries or porridge. My husband will be adding them to his granola. I probably won't snack on them too often as I tend to get a bit carried away when eating nuts, especially Brazil or walnuts. They're in a resealable tub (for freshness) which is much better than bagged, and the tub is recyclable. Win, win.At ÂŁ3.99 for a 150g tub (as at 11 February 2024) I think this is a reasonable price to pay.

Good quality flaked almonds
I recently ordered the Tropgo Flaked Almonds, currently priced at £5.99 for a 150g tub, these almond flakes come in a nicely designed resealable and recyclable container, which I found particularly convenient for maintaining freshness and for easy storage. While they might not offer the best value compared to buying in bulk, the size is quite suitable for occasional use or for those looking to try them out without committing to a larger quantity. The quality of these flaked almonds is evident from the taste and texture. They're mildly sweet and nutty, making them a versatile addition to various dishes. I've sprinkled them over salads for an extra crunch, mixed them into yoghurt for a protein-rich breakfast, and even used them as a topping on baked goods, which added a lovely texture and flavour. However, while the almonds are tasty and convenient, I do agree that there are more cost-effective options available, especially if you're looking to use them frequently or in larger quantities.Pros:🌿 High-quality, tasty almond flakes that enhance various dishes.🌿 Convenient, resealable and recyclable packaging.🌿 Versatile usage, from snacks to ingredients in cooking and baking.Cons:💸 Slightly higher priced for the quantity provided compared to bulk purchases.Overall, the Tropgo Flaked Almonds are a solid choice for those looking for a healthy, versatile snack or ingredient that's ready to use straight from the tub. While the price point may be a consideration, the convenience and quality of the product make it worth trying out for those who value these aspects.

Alternative snack option
I ordered these primarily to try as a heathier alternative snacking option but also intend to use as an ingredient in chicken curry. They arrived well sealed and tasted fresh with ten months to go before the expiry of their best before date. I was able to try these for free via Amazon Vine but they are listed at a high price compared to flaked almonds sold by the supermarkets. Whilst they are a high calibre product I consider supermarket versions to offer much better value for money.
