I had one of these previously but they are not made to last forever, the last one lasted 3 years so that is a good thing. I like that this one has different nozzles for different water flow, don't know if I will ever use all of them as I liked the first one and it seems that the birds enjoy this one too. It is solar powered so you do need the sun for it to work properly. Have not yet had to clean but it is basically a plastic bottom that might need cleaning once a season. We have pretty clean water and never had to clean the last one til end of the season, I think the same will be true for this one. This one does has 4 sticks- one for each side to prevent it from floating to the corner of the bird bath, last one did not have that and it is a very good feature. For the price I am loving this!!

People who like a simple novelty in thier outside decor should consider this item. I have been enjoying it for over a month now, and for the very reasonable price.I’m using in an area under a tree that has no shade, birds are continually drinking and bathing in our little birdbath😊and they create a mess.It quit working, and I was ready to pitch it, but I like to fix things. I never got the little filter thing with it and it was plugged up. I blew it out with my mouth, and cleaned up the b bath, put it back out and it’s working again.

It’s so easy to put together and it worked really well. ... for all of 5 weeks. The first negative is that the water spouts up and out of the birdbath so you need to add water daily, which I did because it was really cool to see the misting. The other negative is that the plastic "arms" which attach to the main piece come unattached daily so each time I add water I see 1 or 2 arms floating, waiting to be attached. I even dealt with that. Now, however, the misting has totally stopped. I've cleaned out the bird bath, getting rid of any small stray leaves and I wiped it down to remove any accumulated algae and make sure that the solar element is unobstructed.So after a mere 5 weeks, the mister is not working and I've wasted my money. I do not recommend this product.It would be nice if the manufacturer saw this and would provide a positive response.

These are inexpensive and I may have got a dud who knows. I'm not out anything so to me 4 stars seems appropriate.Original review belowI bought this as a surprise for my wife to replace an old fountain that's a few years old. I installed it last night. It wasn't really spraying much. I thought maybe it needed a day to charge or something. The video is from today and it doesn't really do too much today either. Luckily for me she said it's the thought that counts hahaha. I wish it wasn't past the return period.

This little fountain/bubbler is exactly what I wanted! My birdbath is a small hanging type and all I wanted was for this fountain to just bubble slightly so it wouldn’t spray water out and over the 11” bowl! My birds have not discovered it yet, but now that the water is moving slightly I hope it won’t be too much longer!

I ordered two of these solar fountains for my bird baths. One stopped working after a short time, however the second one continues to work, not sure why as they are in the same area. I guess we never know the life span of some products

Great Price ,works great. Couldnt be more pleased I picked this one. Its fun to watch. Some of the tips cause water to splash over the sides tho.

I'm using the fountain in my birdbath. The item is easy to put together and worked okay for the first 2.5 months. I'm experiencing issues with the water's force and have cleaned around the pump, and the solar surface to ensure it is free from any junk that could prevent it from operating at its full capability. I reached out to the seller and they asked for my order number. I provided it (same number Amazon assigns to a purchase) and they responded that they were NOT able to locate it. Not sure what other number they would expect for customers to have when buying from their store through Amazon. ??The overall performance was okay until it stopped working at it's best. I like the option to change the waterfall head. The barriers is helpful to assist that the fountain stays in the middle. Even using them, I noticed that the water spills off the side and have to fill the birdbath daily. Maybe if it's used in a wider bowl or planter, the water would last longer. I do enjoy the sound the fountain makes when it is working as expected. Very tranquil.
