Maxwell House 27.5oz Ground Coffee Medium Original Roast

Great bang for your buck. Sometimes I get in on the coffee that gets made in the break room at work so I wanted to contribute. I’ve never ordered this before and not sure who has tried it. I asked a coworker what he thought, he said he didn’t even notice when we switched from the usual to the Maxwell House lol I guess that doesn’t say too much, but when it’s something you don’t like much, it tends to stand out right away in my experience.

I've been a coffee drinker of a different brand for many years now. More so for convenience than anything else I decided to try picking up some Maxwell House from Amazon to see if would be an acceptable alternative. I wouldn't consider myself a picky coffee drinker but I have had certain K cup flavors that I didn't care for.I'm actually quite impressed with how smooth this stuff is. I feel like it has the ever so slightest hint of creamer flavor to it but still very much tastes like straight coffee. It's definitely become my go to brand and I signed up for Amazon's auto delivery option for it.

Coffee prices have increased. The price of this coffee was cheaper than in local grocery stores. When I opened the can, the smell of the coffee seemed fresher than ones I get fron the grocery store. We love Maxwell House coffee...have been drinking it for years.

I was surprised to see this for sale at all, considering Maxwell House went bankrupt in 2023. That's why the international/flavored ones are so expensive, if you can find them at all; they're old stock. I expected the same here. Shockingly it was pretty good overall. Not bitter, decent caffeine, bold enough to be dark in color and have some taste, without being too much/too strong. The size could be bigger; but overall considering how absurdly expensive the chock full o nuts I usually buy has gotten, this was a good substitute. I got the French roast of this brand too, and that's also pretty good. Hope this is still being made, and isn't going to disappear forever soon.
